Elves

The elves of Eberron are a strange people with a unique culture. Originally eladrin, they were captured by the giants of Xen’drik and experimented upon, becoming the race they are today. They toiled as slaves to the giants before eventually rebelling and fleeing to the island continent of Aerenal. Most elves still reside in Aerenal, though some settled on Khorvaire before the rise of Galifar and can be found everywhere as a minority. More recently, the Valenar elves acted as mercenaries during the Last War, eventually betraying their employer, the Kingdom of Cyre and carving out their own nation. Elves worship their ancestors in the form of the Undying Court or the Spirits of the Past.

Elves can manifest Aberrant Marks or the Mark of Shadow (House Phiarlan—Entertainers and Artisans Guild; House Thuranni—Shadow Network). Once the elves also possessed the Mark of Death, but those elves of House Vol were eradicated.

Mechanically, elves gain +2 to Dexterity and +2 to either Intelligence or Wisdom. Once per encounter they can reroll an attack due to their elven accuracy. Elves can also ignore difficult terrain and are proficient in bows regardless of class. Elves can see better in low-light conditions.
